In TİD, referential expressions of person are expressed by signing towards or away from one’s own chest. The first person is signed towards the chest, and the second and third persons are signed in an outward direction from the chest. For first person, 1-handshape, Flat-handshape, and Bent-Flat handshape are used. For the second and third persons, 1-Handshape and Flat-handshape are used. These handshapes are indicated on the table in [Lexicon – 3.7.2.2].
