This chapter describes inflectional morphemes that attach to the noun. As mentioned in the introduction of the previous chapter, inflectional morphemes are bound morphemes that do not change the sign’s word class. MORPHOLOGY 4.1 describes bound morphemes that express number. MORPHOLOGY 4.2)goes into a modality-specific phenomenon, namely, the marking of (abstract) locations on the noun through localization in the signing space.
